"Prelim Task 4:

Diegetic vs. Non-Diegetic Sound Test: 

Film a short, simple action (e.g., a character opening a door, walking down a corridor). Edit the 20-second sequence twice:

Cut 1: Use only diegetic sound (sound originating from the world of the film, like footsteps, a creaking door).

Cut 2: Add non-diegetic sound (like a dramatic musical score or a sound effect not originating from the scene) to drastically change the mood of the same sequence."
